The transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) extends across all economic and social spheres, including education. It has a particular impact on vocational education and training and on changes in jobs that require changes in education and training, both for workers and jobseekers.

The realisation of the potential of AI for VET requires the involvement of European teachers and trainers in designing solutions to the key educational challenges facing VET. Technologists alone cannot design effective AI solutions. The major results of the project will be a detailed investigation of the impact of AI on VET in Europe, the extension of the EU DigiCompEdu framework to detail competences for VET teachers and trainers in the use of AI for teaching and training and for the integration of AI within VET. This will include the development of open access learning materials and training programmes.
